Chaps,

As per title.....
Have not purchased for many years and really green behind the ears with what is the must haves.

Recommendations would be appreciated and 46'' or 50'' would be the size required.

Many thanks

Don't discount an LG LED tv - bought the 37" last Christmas and very, very happy. We actually went in Richer Sounds to buy a Sony but were convinced otherwise, and gladly so!

I'd like to not discount them but the PH massive in "home cinema and hifi" would remove my man parts! Granted it's not like recommending a samsung but it's still frowned upon! smile

I've got a 42" LG, just coming up to 6 years old. Hasn't missed a beat which is a shame as my maintenance contract will replace it if it goes wrong now its old.

Are you mad? It won't change the programme output quality ya know. Spend it on a holiday instead.;)

There is a certain PHer who sells TVs. I would recommend speaking to him.

Meant to add, my brother recently bought a 50" lg 3d (z250 I think) and the picture looks good, 3d is very good and it's quite a nice tv to look at, bargain for £600
