New House, New Telly

In process of buying a new house and the builder has wired it up for a wall mounted TV - which is nice

Was thinking of going to town on a super wide, 3D Philips 21:9 50" Smart LED TV Ambilight Spectra 2.

Question, has anyone had experience with these (and would you recommend) or should I be looking at another solution?
