Brera 2.4 JTDM
Discussion
I have a Brera 2.4, it's a good car. The engine comes in 2 versions, a 200bhp and 210bhp. Both versions are the same basic engine, however, the 210bhp has a different turbo and minor modifications to the intake. It produces the same amount of torque as the 200bhp version, but it arrives at 1500rpm, whereas the 200bhp version doesn't deliver until 2000rpm. The 210bhp version started in late 2007. Economy wise, it isn't amazing. I have the 210bhp version, which averages around 31-34mpg around town, and 41-44 mpg on motorway runs. It sounds pretty good for a diesel too, with it being 5 cylinder. Handling is OK, but again, not likely to set your pants on fire. I think of the car as a GT car rather than an out-and-out performance machine, it suits this image better IMO. It really depends what you want from the car as to whether you will like it. My advice, go and test one and see what you think.
