Ford GT shock absorber

I recently had to replace the front shocks in my GT, at only 5500 miles!
It ruptured a seal and lost compression suddenly, after hitting a pothole in the road I am guessing. Everything else is fine, and just one front was affected, but I replaced both.
Is it possible to get them rebuilt, and if so, anyone any ideas on who could do it? At almost £800 each to buy, I reckon its well worth a rebuild!!!

You might get more specialist advice the Suspension and Brakes forum - in any case, I don't expect there are too many GT owners in this section. Hope you get it sorted - definitely one of my 'lottery win' cars.
