Time has come to part with my Discovery 2 but I haven't got a clue what to ask for it! The range in the adds is vast. Mine is in VGC with 87k on the clock. Where should I aim for?

Anywhere between £3k and £10k. Give us a clue about age, spec etc...

It's a 2002, 7 seat Serengeti.

I'd be advertising it for around £5k then.

Admittedly it's nearly a year ago but when I decided to sell my TD5 I was similarly confused as prices were all over the shop. Mine was a 2001 ES auto, 7 seater, plenty of gadgets, a full history and 120,000 miles. I advertised mine in AT and sold it with no fuss at a shade under £7000. The chap I sold it to was properly brassed off having looked a loads of so-say good ones only to arrive and find they were complete rubbish so maybe I was lucky. He was also suprised that I had no warning lights showing and both keys...I gathered it was quite rare!

Good luck with yours!

Thanks for the feedback. Mine has no warning lights and both sets of keys so maybe if I leave it for a month or so I will get a good price!

What spec has the Serengati got? Is is a facelift model (revised lights) and has it got aircon or leather? is it manual or auto?

It's a manual with the older lights, air con but no leather.
