Sounds like the OH's clutch release bearing has failed. She has left the car parked near her office in Harrogate.

Anyone want to recommend or warn me off any particular places? She's not far from Asda.

I seem to remember a positive vote for the place on the Skipton Road?

thanks

Yes, Skipton Road garage are very good and very helpful. They are just a bit further down from the Skipton Pub on the other side of the road smile

I've always used Dave Pullan - Carmaster on Camwall Road. He's a great guy and has always done a good job. Stands to reason why he's always busy and he's got a good few mechanics working for him now.

I've arranged to get it into the Skipton Road place first thing tomorrow.

I'll bear the Camwall road place in mind though.

Mike redpath on camwall used to service my cars for years. Hes a petrol head and knows his stuff, very approachable and reasonably priced

Just for the record, took it into Skipton Road and the extremely nice people sorted it out for us, same day.

I was very impressed with them and I'm sure that I'll be using them again.

A bit late now but,
Yeah Mike Redpath is a decent bloke. Very tidy facility down Camwal too.
Mr Robinson at Smartstep down Claro is good too, pretty straightforward guy, no teeth sucking!

Wouldn't recommend going in this pub for a drink whilst your P and J is getting serviced though!
