What car did I see?....

Not very pretty, angular styled, not big it looked like a hatchback with a boot added. Quite modern 2000>. The badges on it looked like Pontiac possibly, upturned long triangles with two colours.
Any ideas?

I'll start the bidding with a Buick Skylark.





It's a bit older than 2000 but not much, and seems to meet your criteria of being ugly, upturned-triangle badge (ish)and angular styling while looking like a hatchback with a boot. It's not, it's just ugly, and about the size of a VW Jetta.

Definately not that Buick, more angular. Looked bait like the old top gear test car the Suzuki Liana(sp)or the old saloon Focus.

This is the closest so far, I don't think the arches were so flared. Need a pic of the back to see the badge, googled but can't find one.
