Where to buy on board camera?
Discussion
I'm looking to buy something that can record normal day to day driving, mounted inside the car and also something that could be minted on the front of the car for track days.
I Ike the look of the go pro but at 200 quid for an HD camera is there anything similar for less money
Also had a look at the road hawk but it's about the same price :/

From ebay. About 130£. Takes up to 64gb of sd card. 720p 30 fps, wide angle, in car charging, audio.

I like that price 1. Mounting screw is a loose fit in the body of the camera and allows vibration. I overtightened the screw and the mount broke. Fixed with two-part adhesive and now much better.
2. Produces JPEG files that none of my video playing software packages would play. However, plays fine with the copy of 321 Video Player that can be downloaded as part of the software pack from the 7dayshop web-site.
Can also be used as video camera attached to PC via supplied USB cable. Also takes stills. Supplied power cable rather short.
Remember that you also need a SD card.
