Evening all,

I'm after some good D&B, no full on stuff. Similar to ShyFX type stuff, vocal.

Can anyone make any recommendations? I've got Chase and Status/Pendulum/Magnetic Man etc I'm just after something different for when I go running.

Cheers

I was in a similar pickle last night. Chase and Status / Pendulum are on heavy rotation 3:30am on my way to working early shifts.

Need more tuneage too.

If only I'd thought of checking before hand wobble - I looked at that thread, mainly the hard stuff, so I started this one for the more lyrical stuff.

Cheers though.

ETA: The new Nero album is pretty good - 4/5. Some nice 70s/80s influences.

Apologies.

I was kind of thinking that the 'DnB thread' was where people could ask for such and such and somebody recommends if you know what I mean.

I didnt find much in that thread that I liked either, although I'm perhaps the opposite - all the 'Liquid' stuff bores me and generally not hard enough.

I'm tempted to say one of the best I've had for a while.

Worth a download.

I'll have a pop at that then too!

Whilst you have the computer out, go the the Chase and Status official site. Go to the videos, and watch Blind Faith, online version.

'Wow' was the only word I could muster after that, nearly literal, flashback.

How about a bit of Netsky, High Contrast, London Elektricity, Atlantic Connection and Cyantifics? Can find a lot of their decent stuff on YouTube.

When you say Shy FX, I presume that you've heard 'Feelings'? One of my favourites, tis a bit of a classic.

Edited to add a few of my favourites -

London Elektricity - Just One Second (Apex Remix) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McSGpUJv0fQ

Netsky - Tomorrows Another Day - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qh_w5tgfEbE

ElectoSoul System - Moving In Transit - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIfBvukJll0

London Elektricity - Billion Dollar Gravy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT7Nh_0pxAc

High Contrast - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45tod0Mu0uk&fea...

High Contrast - Racing Green - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=203FfH4ODPM

Netsky - Secret Agent - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lm0faZrdrg

Netsky - Mellow - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNLVCwlb79w

London Elektricity - Strangest Secret In The World - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1dgprMrtG8

London Elektricity - Hanging Rock - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1dgprMrtG8

London Elektricity - Elektricity Will Keep Me Warm - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFD3a3qPUSw

London Elektricity - Rewind (Makoto Mix) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nraBCTfaXto

Adele - Hometown Glory (High Contrast Mix) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozV_vWXZgZY

ETA - London Elektricity (Feat. Esla Esmeralda - Meteorites (Danny Byrd Remix - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQKZawGiw24 - What a gem!

Also worth a watch if you're into the lyrical and more liquid stuff - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mhmk_oK2Kk

I'd recommend any albums from the above. They sound even better on CD, played nice and loud on a half decent hi-fi!

Definitely worth a download, I was pretty impressed and I'm not really a massive fan of dubstep.

Listen to the innerpartysystem album by ... innerpartysystem.

Great stuff, vocal yet fast. There other stuff is good too and more mixed sounding than that album.

Except that isn't DnB? confused

OP, here’s a few liquidy vocal DnB tunes:
Seba Feat Kirsty Hawkshaw – Face To Face
Blame Feat Saleh – Because Of You
Concorde Dawk Feat Hollie Smith – Say Your Words
Spor Feat Tasha Baxter – Overdue

And my personal favourite:
Dave Owen – Still Waters

Not sure why we’ve got 2 DnB threads, though hehe
