Good bodywork people in London & the SE
Discussion
Hi Chaps
The lady who has bought my range Rover wants to repair a couple of superficial bodywork issues that I was happy to live with. My usual man (Tom Horsburgh in Farnham) is snowed under so I wondered if any of you had someone that you'd recommend in SW London or the home counties?

I've used Shalford Coachworks in Godalming - who are excellent. Quite a few local garages (including Land Rover/Range Rover) outsource to this guy. They have the proper spray baking room thingy as well. (sorry, I'm not too technical).
I've seen his work - five star. And modestly priced. 01483 420 673
I sound like an ad for him (!), but I have no connection, just a happy customer.
A mate of mine (Cactussed here on PH) recently used THESE GUYS for the work on his F355 and the result was very good and price amazing !
I'll be sending the M3 into them when the piggy bank is full enough.
Edited for spoooling due to poxy work PC's !

A few moons ago the auctioneers I worked for used to use a guy called Ralph, I think, and his body shop was in a little industrial unit behind big petrol station just up Clapham High street going north east.
While I was there he repaired a 330 GT, Countach and a Daytona which I was responsible for getting sorted, and his work was truly superb.
He was almost impossible to comprehend, and there were no signs or anything, it looked like a bit of risk, but he charged absurdly low rates and always did a fantastic job.
Edit> just went on street view and couldn't even find the petrol station, ah well, time marches on!
