If any one on here was at the pod today (sunday 4th) you would have seen i had a bit of a ride in the corvette, partly my fault as i should have got out of it sooner than i did and the track was greasy.
Anyway id just like to thank everyone that came by the pit afterwards and congratulated me on the driving job trying to keep the car upright and in one piece.
the damage isnt too bad scrape on the rear end, a new wing required and straightening the wheelie bar, we are going to call it a day for the rest of the season as work commitments etc have to come first and the crew will have too a big thrash on to repair the car in the next few weeks to get to the national finals.
but in the words of arnie i'll be back!

Superb Driving job, was watching from half track! Just goes to show that the guard walls all the way through do a superb job!

Watched from the top end Steve and all I can say is wow!

I think I saw every angle of your car and in the shut down area I saw the complete underside and the shower of sparks as the headers kept it upright.

Amazing save and well done!

Hope the car gets sorted and you get back out next year with no problems. Looked a stormer till it started to wash out.
