Where are they?
Discussion
I have just returned from two weeks cruising parts of Europe taking in Berlin, Amsterdam, Brugge and countless other places.
I all of 2,300 miles, I never saw one TVR, not one!
In fact the motorways in those areas were devoid of anything interesting at all, you would have been pushed to see a porker, just millions of euro hatches and trucks.
The only place that had any force of "orsepower" was Berlin where there was a tasty selection of mixed mucho expensive power, mostly overblinged, (drug dealers?)!
Maybe all the tivs were pushing south, who knows, dissapointing though.

That's quite typical for the Continent (well, at least 99% of it) I'd say. Barring TVR events, I see about 2 or 3 Tivs on the road in a year, with a combined annual mileage of ~40K miles. I know the feeling as came back weekend before last from 1,000 mile trip taking in Germany and Belgium via the Grand Prix without seeing one.
Thought at least i might see one at Spa for the GP but all euroboxes. However having seen the muddy car parks i almost regretted taking the Tiv!

I did this over the royal wedding week with the mrs. Went from London to Belguim, Amsterdam, Berlin, Venice, Rome, Pisa, Geneva, then back through France...3500 miles and not a single TVR spotted!I all of 2,300 miles, I never saw one TVR, not one!

1500 miles through Belgium and down to Black Forest, No Tivs to report either. Nice GT40 and about 30 Porker GT3 RS/CUP's at the ring though (cheating I know). But that's why we love out Tivs, rare as hens teeth and always an occasion, I do love to see one coming the other way now and then though.
My Cerb`s a daily driver but I`ve yet to see another on the road.
Wandering along the motoring section of any newsagent the shelves are awash with car magazines, classic, performance, collectors but unless it`s a particularly nice weekend there`s little evidence of regular usage .. shame.

Also just back from Spa, only TVR spotted was a white cerb with tuscan lights and a foreign plate outside a house just next to the circuit. Also spoke to a range rover driver who was staying on the same campsite who reckons he had crashed into a TVR (didn't know what model although he said it was a newer one??), not sure if it was anyone from here?

Almost everytime I come to England, I am lucky to see one.
Mostly grif's,chim's or cerbera and always in south England.
I live in Belgium, south of Brussels and there are two griff's not far away but never could meet the drivers.
Otherwise, no TVR's on the belgian roads.
Chris.

This year I can't have seen more than 3 or 4 TVRs on the road, despite doing nearly 10,000 miles so far. I reckon the complete lack of a summer has kept them tucked away - I for one can't remember a single warm evening this summer where I fancied getting the car out and going for a drive.
In my first 2 years of ownership I covered 5000 miles each year. I've done less than 1000 this year and 350 of those were when I had to drive to work in it because my daily was broken. How miserable is that!
