after draining box on saturday and having to find a drain plug washer to fit it, I was able to refill it tonight, this morning for you guys.....
I was only able to get two ltrs in it which is about what i got out,Is this correct as I thought the oil capacity on the lt77 was about 2.7ltrs, should I go back later and try to get some more in it, I dont think i`ll get .7 of a ltr in it though

cheers

Adam
p.s. Clad I have the remote linkage bushes on there way as the two side ones on mine just dont exsist so that odd feeling when you rest your hand on the gearstick is the square plate on the bottom of the linkage hiting the uj on the prop shaftrolleyes

Step 1 drain old oil out and replace plug
Step 2 fill with oil till it starts to dribble out and refit plug.
Step 3 take car for a short drive going through alm gears.
Step 4 recheck level with finger in hole and top up if need be...

I fancy trying a different oil mabe over winter

Wont the oil expand as it heats up though Cambelt? Thus meaning that the oil will trickle out as soon as you take the plug out thus lowering the level in the box when it returns to ambient temprature.

Proberly Rob, i was just thinking it would take oil up into the bearings and lower the level a little but i think you are right ignore step 4....
I did check mine last week after changing it over 7 years ago and it was spot on.
So hows the hand Rob hope its well plus the family....

Yeah hand is getting there, family is good. The little one just likes to walk around the house wrecking everything in his path, and the biggun just likes to empty my wallet in record time but hey thats what there for. Carol is good also... you and yours?
