Hi

Had my new Chim 400 for a few weeks now - absolutely love the noise and feel.

Took her to TorqueRVT in Middlewich for a "once over" and a few bits and bobs - cannot recommend them highly enough. Ian is a real TVR fanatic and knows every nut and bolt and what they should do.

A few pics attached

Look forward to contributing when I can.

Joining the TVR car club is excellent, and that is what owning a TIV is all about.

As it happens, my TVRCC renewal letter has just arrived, and I've put it in the bin. I don't get enough out of it to justify the membership fee, and I get far more support, advice and knowledge from reading the TVR forums here on PistonHeads.

You can still turn up at the local TVR meets without being a member !The thing i have noticed is they stopped giving me imformation about main events ,they give a link to the TVRCC website, without the password your stuffed ..So the standard local meets you can turn up..Most of the guys know nothing about there cars they just book it in at the local indie ..i asked one guy what oil he uses and he answered "i don`t know"so that tells you something..Some of the local TVR specialists turn up touting for work and one particular so called specialist just walks away after a question regarding faults or problems. So i would say piston heads is far better..
