Can anyone point me in the direction of the thread with the squashed griffo i dont remember the outcome ie the finnished car. Tried ph search not there? Many thanks

Is that the one from Goodwood that crashed and bent in half? I watched that on the TV coverage and didn't know it had been fixed. I too would be interested if it had a 'build thread.'

The owner doesn't seem to have posted for some time; here's hoping the restoration is going well - lovely car.

I know the guys who are doing the work quite well and the resto is going well. A new front end was fitted to the car and new chassis legs made up. A long process considering there are very few measurements availble for these cars. I did try getting some info from Italdesign (Where I worked, though the car was designed by Guigiaro whilst he was at Bertone, not at IDG) to no avail, but a new front end is finally on the car. The engine is back in and the car is coming along well.

Ok, so you weren't referring to the one I was on about. Does anyone know if the racecar I mentioned was fixed. I doubt there's a 'build thread' as the car strikes me of a quiet private person. Then again judging people isn't always correct.
