My cousin just bought one for his mom.

He spent around £2,700. For what you get its a pretty decent car IMHO. Cheap to run and good for commutes. Not THAT slow either.....compared to my wifes old 1.4i Astra...

The running costs alone would sway me to buy one for the missus...

Anyone got one here?

Don't they have huge reliability issues? The ex-gf has one, she told me last week she needs to get rid as shes spent a lot paying for little stupid faults to be fixed.

Have to agree with Stotty there. A friend had a C2 GT. Not a bad little car, felt better inside and when driving than I had thought and also quite quick, but the niggly faults and electronics were frustrating so he was shot of it in about 5 months.

The digital rev meter is fun to watch though.

My friend recently got rid of his after two years of anything from small electrical niggles to full on fuel pump failures.

Nice looking cars, not bad to drive, but old style French piss-poor reliability.

I had one of these from 2004 to 2008. Great little car with no reliability issues (although I had it from new and only put 45k on it). Watch out on wet roundabouts if it's one of the earlier models without ESP - they have a really short wheelbase that can lead to unintended lift off oversteer eek
