Tuscan boot release

Has anyone ever taken this apart? I own a Chimaera and fancy making a boot release in a similar vein - perhaps using a Tuscan unit with a Chimaera badge on top, if that's possible?

Also, how is it wired in - does anyone know?

The badge is the same as a Chimaera one - by that I mean it is a flat badge with 2 threaded studs coming out of it - this sits on top of a micro switch which is what actually opens the boot, so it shouldn't be too difficlt to do this on a Chimaera - I guess it is just a case of finding the bits then wiring it in place of the button under the dash (although by-passing the need for the key to be turned would be a big bonus on a Chimaera)
