I am usually quite good for recognising 80/90's classics, but stumbled across this whilst looking for a cheap 4x4 for winter. Not really suitable for my needs, but seems a lot of car (and bits) for the current bidding price. £45k in 1990 !

Interesting, but I can't make my mind up about the looks. Gotta be a bargain for somebody though. smile

It was hovering at 2k when I spotted it last night, at that price I might have been tempted, I like an obscure car !. Not quite sure where I would store all of the extra spares though....

Doubt know about a bargain - I'd say a shed load of work !

Would be an interesting project though - get rid of that nasty old rover slug-lump and put something lightweight and turbo-charged in its place wink

Its a little bit like an early murtaya...

Sold for over £8k, so maybe not the bargain I originally thought. Bound to re-appear, probably at auction for a fortune.

Pause the video clip at @ 16 seconds. the rear screen is almost vertical so a window wouldn't meet up with anything and would look out of place.

Also, if you look at the design of that area of the car just goes to show how far ahead of it's time this car was!. Don't believe Me?, take a look at the same area on a Ferrari 599: http://www.automobilesreview.com/uploads/2008/07/F... , http://www.autoweek.nl/images/800/f/88bfdaadef67d8... , http://img.scoop.co.nz/stories/images/0702/4ac2e00... it's the same design just made more extreme some 16 years later!.
