Is anybody going? Does anybody fancy convoying up the A3?

Was just looking at this.

As always, weather dependant! Fancy looking around the Brooklands museum behind the Merc one.

I'm hoping to go to this (well, name is on the list!), although it's Monza and the Beaulieu Autojumble - if I don't get my fill on Saturday I might have to go back! Looking like I'll go to MBW though, even if it's just for the sticker biggrin

I'll be heading up from Marchwood/Totton area, Rownhams meet maybe?

A hoon from Guildford Cathedral was suggested, but nothing has surfaced.

I'll certainly be going that way. In a v6 with a Clio and probably an RS4 in tow as well.

I'm only 8 minutes South of the tunnel, so will be heading out onto the A3 around 8:30am.

I'm working at Heathrow on saturday night and finish at 7am. Logic says to go straight to Brooklands from there but that means turning up nearly 2 hours before gates open so instead I will drive home (50 miles) have a shower and a freshen up then drive back the way I came to attend the SS! So a hoon might be a good way to stay awake biggrin

Looking at the route, I'll be heading up the M27, then M3 for a bit before heading across on the A272 to join the A3 at Petersfield. Then the tunnel! biggrin

See people in the morning then...

Just a heads-up for those that haven't traversed the tunnel yet.... be warned it has 130 (yes one hundred and thirty!!) cameras in it, average speed cameras amongst them. Speed limit is 70mph (unless your number plates have accidentally fallen off....). I'll be settling for second gear with the sports exhaust ON. wink

hehe

I'll be coming through in an silver A6 with a silver Clio in tow around 7.30ish, no smiley's on the car, but if it looks like some scruffy kid driving his Dad's car, that'll be me.

I'm now meeting a friend at the top of Reigate hill at 8-45. He will be in an immaculate Lotus Carlton or his equally immaculate M3. I on the otherhand will be in an exceedingly grubby looking silver Cerbera smile

Thinking of leaving soon too. A3 and across for me.
