Assessment Day

So I have got through to the next stage of the recruitment process for a certain Stuttgart based car company. The role is London based and sales if this makes any difference.

I have no previous experience of an assessment centre or day and wondered what it would entail as they aren't being very forthcoming with what I can expect!?

As I would rather not turn up without a clue, could the fine people of PH please give me some tips on what I could expect and what I could do to best prepare myself for the day.

could be any number of things

competancy based interview
psychometric profiling.
IQ type tests
Some role play scenarios
You have x time to creat a presentation on Y or Z scenario.

I would try to get more info if poss,

Phone the HR people and ask. Some recruiters like that, as it shows initiative and enthusiasm. Even if they say no, they may well remember your name.

If you can get more info then that's definitely going to help - otherwise, just be confident and you'll do fine.

Thanks guys. Spoke to the lady given as contact and she didn't seem to know much herself, said I was the first back in contact, which I guess is good.
