Does anybody know whether the shockers on a 4.5 Cerb (98) are special to TVR (Can't see it) or are they from something else.

Dealers quote an arm and a leg for them and I was hoping to get them a bit cheaper from elsewhere.

TVR own original style are poor !
There are options that are better and cheaper (AVOs).
There are options that are about the same cost as a dealer for standards via indies that are excellent.

I've put the better AVO's on my rear, instead of the TVR ones. You could also go for Nitrons. See Joospeed.

It was cheaper for me to have nitrons all round inc new springs than it was to replace all the shocks with factory fit.

And of course the handling is somewhat better

Have had AVO's fitted front and rear and what a difference - roadholding, and shock absorbing properties a lot better than standard, and as I could not afford the Nitrons a great compromise.

Cheers folks. I'll check out some of the people you mention and forget the standard stuff...
