Opened the front door this morning and the Insignia had decided overnight that all 4 windows should be put half way down.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be? I've tried googling but not come up with anything and don't have the owners manual to hand. It smells of an electrical fault or something, or has my car just decided to become Knight rider and was needing a breath of air in the night.

Personally I'd get it to Vauxhall asap sounds like the regulators have given up, not a cheap job if its not under warranty.

Check the unlock button on your key fob wasn't pressed whilst in your pocket. It's similar to the audi (and quite a few other manufacturers) system where you can open and close all the windows by just keeping hold of the unlock or lock button.

All 4 regulators given up at the same time? No chance. Sounds more like a feature thats on the car that has malfunctioned or you hav accidently activated it somehow.

I'll give that a go tonight, might be a feature I didn't know about, or that said feature has decided to activate on its own.

It's a BCM fault. My old Corsa C used to randomly unlock it's doors, and/or put the windows down.

The unlocking itself wasn't due to the keyfob in pocket thing, as it relocked itself after unlocking if you didn't open a door within 20 seconds.
