Alternative front indicators ?

After trying to fit indicators in to the head light housing last night it became clear 72mm diameter indicators (with rubber housing) do not fit in 66m holes Quick call to factory confirmed the holes have to be expanded.

However before I start sanding, has anyone found any LED indicators as a direct replacement for the stock item ?

Anyone fitted anything different ?

dont they need to be amber colour??

The some ones I have with headlight kit are clear, with Amber bulb. Assume same for LEDs ?

There are loads of nice side indicators out there. Renault, Vauxhall, VW and even Ford all have good offerings. I've got catalogues of all lights >2012 at work, am trying to find an online version for you. You can get nice aftermarket ones for Golf MK4 in various colours and smokes.
