Coolant System Capacity

Planning on doing a full coolant flush and re-fill this weekend.

From looking at the manual it's saying 12 litres!
Is that right?

So I'll need a full 5 litre bottle of coolant, and 7 litres of water?!
That seems loads!


Also, can anyone give me a quick how-to for the bleeding process?
I read somewhere that it wasn't just a case of opening the bleed valve and sitting her at idle - it mentioned something about squeezing some pipes?

Hi,

12 liters is about correct.
Just flushed the system a few weeks ago, and a lot came out.

And about 12 liters went back in after bleeding etc.
