Yet another what car !

Hi all,

Just to be a bit of a pain, any thoughts on the next car for the wife?
She has had an Alfa GT for about three years or so, nice to drive etc, alas the build quality is garbage!
She would like another Alfa, so trying to steer her into something else.
Approx 12-13k, four seater, diesel and slightly different?
She has said she's not keen on BMW as there are a lot around

try and get her to try a 3 series or 1 series coupe. Diesel is the best diesel out there (4 or 6 cyl).

Merc CLC ( No idea what these are like)
Leftfield - Laguna Coupe (very cheap and I'm presuming they will keep falling at an alarming rate)

re. the BMW 1 series/3 series - She should try driving one and discover how good they are.

You can get an A4 cabrio for that.
They do/did a nice 2.5l v6 diesel.

(sorry, almost all my car advice will suggest a convertible. )

I keep talking BMW and she's shaking her head, women !
It looks like the budget is going up to about 15k including her Alfa now.
