Just picked up the "shocking, harrowing, chilling, incendiary" Iraq war film "Redacted" in Tesco for £3.

Without spoiling "one of the most shocking endings ever seen in cinema", has anyone seen it and is it any good?

I've got it on DVD, bought it cheap a while back.

Only seen it the once, and can't for the life of me remember what it was all about, so it can't have made much of an impression on me!

I won't comment on whether or not it's any good though, as I'd be spouting rubbish due to my lack of memory on it...

ETA: If a film cover has various descriptions about the movie similar to what you've quoted, then you know the opposite is actually the truth - I've learned that the hard way too many times!

Oh, me too, but it's a De Palma film - going on his track record it can't be that bad...

I bought it as well but can't seem to get time to watch it.

Did it not cause a bit of a fuss on release - decried as being 'anti-american by some?
Mainly because the soldiers are not portrayed as whiter than white, goody goody hero types.
