What do you consider to be "good mpg"
Discussion
I know this varies from the type of car and type of use.
But in my mind a vehicle returning "good" mpg has always been something that'll offer up a modal average of 28-32mpg.
While anything averaging (modal) 21+mpg is still perfectly fine and anything mid 30's or higher is unbelievable economical.
So, in this modern changing world of £6.35/gallon of fuel, what do you consider to be "good" mpg?

Interesting, i consider north of 40mpg to be good, 30-40 to be acceptable and less than 30 to be a bit poor. Less than 20 is tragic.
Doesn't stop me driving my MX5 @ ~28mpg
Is your perception of acceptable economy a reflection on your age? Disposable income? Both?
I'll go with you on your definitions. My MR2 has averaged 26~ so far, but it doesn't bother me - it is 'poor' mpg though.Doesn't stop me driving my MX5 @ ~28mpg
