finally a few pics..will post more in a sec..

car has now been running like a dream.. so a few comments on my ownership.. the race manifolds from ACT DEFINATELY make a difference.. I have had the race manifolds ceramic coated by CAMCOAT to reduce under bonnet temperature. The light weight fly wheel has been added plus the lighter clutch and slave.. The throttle is now motor bike like response.!! The paintwork was done by surface and design and after a couple of months scrutiny i can say that the 5.5k colour change was totally worth it the car is like a brand new cerb.. The leather interior which was done by DC TRIM JUST MAKES ME SMILE EVERYTIME I GET IN. I would really like a fellow cerb owner to come and drive the car..there is no hump at all in revs it doesnt need mapping..why is this..?/ its a 4.5 yet its smooth all through the range. Mike Vernon has worked magic with the engine and it really runs like a dream.

suspension is custom made,, by INTRAX. Its not there standard shock .. its a bigger piston shock called.."the black titan" very strange name but the handling is like no other.. i had nitrons on my 4.2 and these just blow them away...

Looks great, a nice colour combination and clearly a quality job. They're pretty big door speakers you've got there, were they much trouble to fit and what are they? Any info on the spacers etc would be handy as I want to put some in mine.

Mines in being re-trimmed at the moment, hopefully picking it up tomorrow evening.....

Thanks guys..Yes they did a great job and am really happy with the finish. was a little frustating when i had my door not opening issue. But this was fixed with a new reed switch and a door control unit from paul smith in blackpool. (thanks paul).

The door speaker is German Maestro. To those that know MB QUARTZ this was the only speaker karl baker would ever fit. This company was taken over by the americans and manufacturing moved to china..so new MB QUARTZ are now crap quality - big change!!

The original manufacturing company has rebranded as German Maestro with manufacturing in germany.
I have fitted the MLINE which is the top of the range component. Sound is amazing , i am a big Jazz fan so the sound is really important.

I may sell it ..not really sure as i move to singapore and maybe storing it is an option. I would recommend any one to orgainse a group buy on those titans because honestly the handling is incredible. BUT it does make the car feel so much more safer so you drive it harder and than could be a danger to the unexperienced.!

thanks gerrad. the interior is down to d and c trim.. who meticulously specced the leather according to my criteria. It a very thick but soft leather with a very pronounce grain and contrast stitching the roof is also quilted in alacantra. two colours of charcoal were used to creat variety in the cabin

I have the 1K2 Black Titans too on my Chim. The name refers to a special anti-friction coating on the piston rods - a 400 EUR+ VAT option but well worth it.

I think Austec and Ab Shocks do Intrax in the UK.

Not cheap though - think Ohlins rather than Nitron. They do go a long, long way towards eliminating these cars' biggest performance limitation - composure and consistency of grip/traction. Lighter, stiffer, less friction and shim stacks/damping pistons that were specifically developed for/on the road in road applications instead of 'turn a track/race damper down a bit'.
