The only place I'd buy a tvr engine from is Dom at TvrPower or Jason at str8six in England. Nobody else has the knowledge and experience these two have.

Graham

Also these two have proven to cure the problems and have power upgrades that are proven with 100,000 miles on engines

I had a tvr for 3 years and went through all the speed 6 problems and 15k rectifying them, there is nobody in Scotland who knows them like the above mentioned.

As per Graham, TVR Power / STR8 Six the only options.
They provide excellent warranties with their installations / upgrades.

I'd give Dom a call at TVR Power as Graham mentions. I've spent 4 years messing about with other places and heard all the horror stories but having dropped my car of at Dom's I was very pleased with his setup, staff and knowledge. I've actually just sold him my blown 4.2 cerb.
His warranties are 3 year unlimited mileage.

Hey bud, Sorry to hear your car hasn't worked out for you, shame as it was so nice! Hope you have better luck with the next motor whatever that may be!

no, Iam building a 4x4 0ffroad landrover bowler tomcat thing, need a light, powerful and reliable engine, alot tomcats use tvr/rover v8's, but to get that engine over 400hp, takes alot work and money so iam lead to believe, the corvette ls3 engine comes out the box with 430hp as standard, its slightly bigger than the rover v8, but it does fit

cheers
