Hi,

Well I picked up my 111s (s1) on Saturday and have been enjoying it almost non-stop since. However yesterday I had a tracker fitted and this morning I have found a clear plastic tube in the boot (presumabaly from when he was looking for places to "hide" the tracker). One end goes down towards the rear tyre on the drivers side and the other has an open end. My problem is that I have spent an hour looking for where this end should be connected to and can't find anything!

I realise this is a silly question but can anyone tell me where this should go and what it is? Also another silly question but how do I get the alloy window winder undone not sure what tool will fit into the circular hole in the middle? (As you will have realised I am not too mechanically minded!!!)

Thanks, Richard

Some people (like me) have had an extra drain hole fitted to the part of the boot lip nearest the rear of the car. (If you don't have one, and you park pointing up a steep slope when it rains, your boot will fill with water).

There should be a pipe going from the hole in the boot lip (not the lid, the lip that the lid sits in) which routes round the rear of the boot and out a hole in the bottom. Sounds like this might be what you have.

Sometimes if you overfill the boot with stuff the pipe can be accidentally disconnected - not good news if it happens to be raining.

Stoker.

The drain hole is next to the lock mechanism for the boot lid.

Stick your head in the boot and you should be able to see where to connect it
