Best place to buy a new cable?
Mine is so stiff its hard to drive.

Originals aren't available, obtain a universal kit from Clevor Trevor.

I keep one in the boot just in case!

Mine was the same so had it replaced at 12k service a few weeks back. The car is much easier to drive now and the cable wasn't too pricey. Sportmotive replaced mine. Might be worth a call to see if they can supply one.

I replaced just the inner cable with a Halfords bike brake cable. Same diameter an easily long enough, cost about £2.75.
