Bus Lane Fines! Hemel Hampstead

I dont live here, but I thought anyone that does might be interested in this before you get stung!

Is that new? I've not been into Hemel town centre for a while but that road never used to be buses only did it? There is an entrance to a car park on the left right before that sign, and further along that road there's a roundabout that leads to a couple of other car parks.

The camera is new as of last month, and its a road that most of hemel have used for years.... total stitch up, glad I don't live in hemel anymore.

yea dont live in hemel but used to ,this route was used for years by cars ,now they put small signs up and scameras i know one guy who got caught twice in on day!!!!! rip the cameras down.

Hmmmm, I got caught and the fine i received said any seperate offence commited within a certain amount of time wouldnt matter.

Appeal it if you get caught. It costs you nothing. I did. Appealed to the council. They rejected it and told me to cough up or appeal to the adjuducator. I appealed it. Letter arrived to day from Herts CC saying they are not contesting my appeal and have cancelled the penalty charge. Saved myself the £30 ish pound fine......so I'm going out for a slap up meal sometime to celebrate!! LOL

And HH is a sthole. Glad I dont live there anymore. Full of chavs and lone parents !
