Just in case you have this problem, try looking at the virtual catalogue

of the offerings here www.onlywatch.com.

So much for world recession.I suppose the upside is these watches are being sold for charity

(P.S £200K probably won't be enough)

It's either RM or Urwerk me, but I think the RM would win as it's that RM.

Apparently it is detachable so that you can wear it as a "normal" watch. Think someone has lost the plot a bit wobble

That is, by far, the GREATEST thing I have ever seen.

Imagine flashing that during a deal closing meeting. Everyone, and I mean everyone, at that table would know exactly who the top dog was. Rolex clad lawyers would be shaking in their Church's.

I'd buy the watch I have for £50, an R500 for £45k and 4 months off in the summer to do an awful lot of trackdays and a season of racing... biggrin

If you look at the wish price list

http://data.antiquorum.com/eng/flip/2011_Sep_OW/#/...

They are expecting 170,000 - 230,000 Euros for it

I wonder, I really do, about the mindset of the people who'd buy the majority of those abominations. There are some that are timeless (no pun intended) like the Grande Complication, but frankly you can keep most of the rest. And as for the panda, thank god they are an endangered species.

Really? High-paid corporate execs judge a person's status by the watch he's wearing?

Admittedly I'm not super rich but I stopped judging people by the car/house/wife they have a long time ago.

Apologies if there's a whoosh parrot I'm missing smile

Bit of a whoosh but perhaps it wasn't the clearest "joke" in the first place!!

However, I have no doubt that a hell of a lot of people in the finance, business and legal worlds do pay attention to what you are wearing be it your suits, shoes or watch. It's just one of those things I guess.
