Need help with valuation on LHD Kleeman SLK55 AMG

Hi, as title, my father in law would like to part with this car in the next few weeks due to barmy Greek import duties, and increasingly poor health, but pricing it realistically is going to be difficult.

It's an '07 plate with circa 20k miles, and full history. The car was supplied new in Germany, and we bought it from a dealer there with 8k.....it was then shipped to Denmark where Kleeman fitted approx 30k worth of modifications, including supercharger, lsd, exhaust, headers and remap. It was dyno'd at 540 brake, and is spectacularly quick. It hit 185 mph, without acceleration seeming to tail off whatsoever, in the rain in Germany, and only weather and traffic prevented what I'm sure would have been a 200 mph run.

I brought it to the UK where it was SVA'd and registered before taking it to Crete where my Father in law resides. He's had this car ( his 2nd Kleeman SLK ) for 3 years or so. It's been completely reliable.

Any help to value it prior to sale would be appreciated. Cheers, Andy.

There was an SLK55 with a Kleeman S/C upgrade on PH a while back for £30k, was that yours? I thought that was RHD, however.

Going to be a very niche car in all honesty, with such huge modifications *and* LHD, it will only appeal to a very small audience. I'd start the ball rolling at about £27k?

Hamilton's had a 490BHP Carl. SLK up at £29k recently.

Hi, it's in Greece until the beginning of next month, then I'm going over there to bring it to the U.K.....it should be here no later than Oct. 7th, if all goes according to plan.

Any idea what year Hamiltons car is?

Hi, thanks for that, yes, already considering the possibility of exploring the German market, shouldn't have to pay any duties on it as it was originally registered there.
