This has gone on my 4.5, and I'm being told that TVR have none and they are trying another source... (other TVR dealers - Penninsular apparently)...

Does this sound like BS to you ? I'm not sure, but I'm fed up with waiting (nearly 3 weeks)and just want my otherwise fabulous car back !!!!!!!!!!!

This'll teach me for not using Fernies even though I'm now in Bristol and the people I'm using are sorting it out for nothing (allegedly) owing to my having bought it from them 5 days earlier.....

Talk to Steve Howard at Thames Valley Racing www.thamesvalleyracing.com/

Had mine relined because of the (worrying) lack of spare parts from TVR.

yep, what they told you is true .. or so it appears from what i've been told anyway.

you can have the slaves machined if they've picked-up inside and I've done them with phosphor bronze guides inside, but dont know if you can convert an early long slave into a short one .. I'll find out this week cos i have an early clutch 4.5 cerbie in for a clutch fit .. if i can't get the parts I'll be getting something machined .. watch this space.
