safer than it looks gents, floor has to be good though. i probably wouldnt try to take off a hub nut perhaps but for most jobs its perfectly safe
There is a locking mechanism and it can be used at any height from floor to top lift.
For lowish cars like Tiv's you need to lay lengths of wood on the floor, mine will be nailed permenantly in position and the car will be parked on them always with lift stored underneath..simples.

Fair enough, as long as you don't do anything too heavy duty on it. We have something similar but more stable, but I guess vastly more expensive too... I'll get pics this weekend. It's great having decent access underneath, ours is sort of opposite - we have full access to the centre of the car.
