Hello!

So, had the first long run in the car last night. 200 miles, left Lymington at 18:30 and arrived in Falmouth at 22:30, that included a 30 minute stop for dinner! Pretty quick! Had a fantastic run, even discovered the car has bluetooth so that's cool. Handles amazingly and has soooo much power! Overtaking is effortless! And she's beautiful! biggrin I'm absolutely loving the car. Even managed to average 28 MPG on the way down to Cornwall which I'm impressed with! We did have a few blasts too so didn't drive like a granny the whole way.

Ashley and I spent a couple of hours cleaning, polishing and waxing her today and then took it down to the quay for some photos. Then as soon as we'd finished taking photos, it started raining! Still, at least it held off until after we'd waxed it. I'll let the photos do the talking…. (there's loads!!)

Cheers buddy. Can't stop smiling! Anyway, must go and do something else. Been sat in front of this computer for ages editing these photos. Neck is killing me. Going to drink some Cornish Rattler and have a curry! biggrin

Not bad - could try harder. I managed the family record in August, Hayling to Truro, 3 hours 20. Probably won't repeat it though.

Nice looking car though, v. tidy.

That is a pretty good effort! Could have certainly managed it a lot quicker, but trying to keep the fuel cost below £150 if I can!

Thanks. Just my quick effort at photography in fading light without much inspiration! I'm sure I'll get more opportunities to get some better photos at some point.

That was the A303 route, never done it before but it seemed to work. From Exeter to Brother-in-Laws house is 96 miles. We were running late for dinner and I am pretty sure I'll never cover that distance in the same time again. wink

Thanks. It's only done 30k miles so it's pretty tidy. Don't have any photos of the engine yet, but may get some today. It's not that clean under there yet!

Haha!

It's all dirty now after today! Went to get prices for tyres today. Can't make up my mind, Michelin PS3 or Continental Contact Sport 5.....
