Started a new job on Monday and it has become apparent I wont be able to make it down for PF. Gutted, but not much I can do about it

Hopefully I can get down for Sunday but as it stands I can be 100%

As a result I cant be captin on Billy No Mates, and my brother cpearson also wont be in attendance so that leaves two spaces...

If you just post on here i'm sure Sir Ted/PistonFest will change the names round...

Rob, good news with the job, congratulations.
However, now that the team captain has gone, does this mean that the team is likely not to take part if somebody doesn't step forward to be captain & co-ordinate it all?
Can you, or somebody from the team please answer as soon as possible, because I've got another team ready, willing & eager to fill the team vacancy if "Billy no Mates" no longer exists.......

I don't mind doing it, and can probably persuade full_chat to join up too. We've spent the last three years working on my M together, so he knows about as much as me. I'll ask him today and will confirm later during the weekend.

Good luck with the job Rob, hope you can make it over on the Sunday.

So who does that leave us with then, for 'Billy no mates'??

Cheers, Tony

Thanks, i'll do my best to get down, kind of out of my hands now. Will just have to keep the fingers crossed.

So, as it stands as far as I am aware Billy No Mates consists of;

You
White Van Man
Miniman
Dusty C
Minimax (?) - I'll check that one
One more person needed

I've spoken to Chris (Full_Chat) who is up for joining in, so we should be ok now.

PF, what details/organisation needs to happen now, or is it just a case of turn up with tools on the day?

Cheers, Tony

Simple, just call in to the production office (well gazebo actually) sometime on Sunday, all will be explained there.......
Don't bother to bring your tools to the gazebo though, you'll only need them for "scrutineering" about 10 minutes before the event itself (unless you want to carry them around the site of course).

I emailed you months ago to say that I couldn't do it.
I think I also posted on PH about it.
Anyway, sorry, but you need someone to replace my spot too.

Tools and accessory retailers "Tools n Stuff" have now stepped in to sponsor the event. As well as the prestigious cups that will be dished out, the winning team will be given a prize consisting of a karting outing at Sutton Circuit in Leicestershire.

Nice one Ian.

So do I assume that the final line up is:

Bigtone
Full_Chat
White Van Man
Miniman
Ian D
Minimax

If so, please confirm, and at the same time, let me know your T-shirt sizes - I have a plan up my sleeve......

Good news on the prizes too - well done Ted/PF!!!!

Cheers gents,

Tony
