otherwise utterly normal, but fairly frequently pukes in the middle of the night.

Vet complimented the wife on having a very fit, well muscled bearded collie

Sorry to hear this.

Are you going to try the feeding him late at night treatment?

It was thought my dog had that as various tests ruled out most other things. However it turns out he was reacting to something I was feeding him - which is bizarre as I feed raw!

my 1st pooch and best friend had a similar syndrome, puked every day for her 1st year, rarely brought back food, but gradually decreased as she aged, was improved by feeding a bit of food just before bed. Don't think anyone quite knows the cause but it doesn't seem to be a major risk to health, just annoying and unsettling for both pooch and person.
