Going to the Le Man at Silverstone this weekend?Traffic bad?

I've been invited to the Le Man race at Silverstone this weekend. It's the first time I've been, so I don't really know what to expect traffic wise and my car currently has an issue where it overheats in slow moving traffic!
I realise it's not going to be anywhere near the F1 for visitors, but does anyone know if I'm likely to experience long delays getting in on race day?

11.30 I believe. Traffic was bad a couple of years ago when Peugot were giving away free tickets from their dealers, but no problems last year. Mind you, I blieve that 80 thousand turned up for the classic this year, resulting in huge tailbacks and overheating E types, so best get there early, although badish weather forecast might keep a few away.

I put this on RLM forum, but if it's your first time to the new layout you might find this useful as the track isn't the easiest to navigate for a spectator.
Getting around the circuit (based on the GT1 weekend):
Upon entering the track, you can
go right to access the outside of village & presumably along to the pit straight.
go over the bridge & turn left to get to the old paddock (where the support cars will be).
From the old paddock
there is a tunnel under copse corner to the outside from where you can walk the length of the outside in the direction of traffic all the way to Vale or the other way around to Luffield.
On the infield you can walk up as far as Becketts (where you get a view of both sides of the track)
every 5-10 minutes, a single decker bus runs from the old paddock car park through the middle of the track between Becketts & Village to the inside of Club which is also the entrance to the Wing (you can not walk this way, but you can walk back from the Club to almost Farm).
from the new Wing you can get a double decker bus (runs every 20 odd minutes) which runs in the direction of the loop, around the Stowe circuit, crosses the bridge on the Hanger straight and heads towards the outside of Stowe corner (not sure where it goes to from there)

The view from the Wing itself (unless you are in it) isn't that great in my opinion.

OP - I'm aiming for 9am on both days. Never had trouble getting in at that time in the past.

Except that at becketts/new complex some health and safety sh*thead has decided that you cant walk through there so they put some grim faced jobsworth there to stop you going through. You then HAVE to wait for a bus to cover the 50 yards, thats all I need a bl**dy bus, a queue sometimes a long wait.........bl**dy bullsh*t. The old circuit was good, see the finish then off to park ferme to get a close look at the cars...............dont suppose that will happen on Sunday.........they just dont give a damn about the general admission spectator, even those of us who have gone to all the endurance races since 1970!
As for the traffic aim for the warm up at 9am and there will be no probs. If Audi and Pug bring in loads of their own spectators there will be queuing later in the morning.
