New remote control without code

I only have one remote control for my 1997 Griff. Is there a way to buy another remote control to have a spare one. Unfortunately I don't have the code.

You need Carl Baker. Google "Car and Bike Installations" he is the TVR security system expert

I think it very much depends upon which alarm system you have. Karl is definitely the right man to talk to from the start. He quite literally has years of experience with TVR alarms, and should be your first port of call.

Just out of interest (I'm not having a go here - its interest only) I've noticed that sometimes posters manage to do it in stereo and some I've noted do it quite often so what is making that happen - finger trouble?

In my case its when posting via Blackberry or with a dodgy connection on a train

I talked to Carl - he clearly seems an expert on TVR alarms. I basically have 2 options - get the alarm recoded and receive 2 remote controls. This can be done by posting the alarm unit hidden behind the dash. But it seems that the original units are likely to failure why the best option is to bring the car and have a complete new unit installed.
