I need to know if a change of control clause in my contract has been initiated or not.

I have had one shareholder/director exit and his shares have been purchased by the majority shareholder and he is now the sole owner of the business.

So the majority shareholder remains but now has full control but has there been a change?

It depends how it's written but a majority shareholder buying out a minority shareholder isn't a change of control. However the wording of the clause is everything.
