My boiler was leaking water from the top 10 bar vent and continually losing pressure, so I got a new one off ebay and fitted it. Unfortunately a wee bit of water got on the fan logic board, the first time I turned it on I got a fan speed sensor error.

I have taken the fan apart and cleaned the components with electrical cleaner. The error went and I thought all was well, until.....

The boiler comes up to the selected temp, then continues past it and stops burning. The pump continues to run the water cools as it passes to the megaflo and after a few minutes the cycle continues. All cables are correctly plugged in, I took a few photos before I changed the leaking valve so I know everything is correct. I can only think that the fan board was damaged. I also added some inhibitor but have thoroughly checked for air and can't seem to find any. The problem occurs on both heating circuits.

At the moment my best option seems to be npowers callout guaranteed fix at £178. Its a 3 year old Vokera Mynute 35HE and the manufacturer wants £250 for a fix.

I'm sorry, I need a break. I read that as 'Condensing boiler fruit'.
