Hi,

I'm thinking of fitting Continental Contact Sport 5's to my Z4M, but they're only available in Contact 5's for the front and Contact 5 P's for the rear.

Is that going to be ok? I'm assuming it will. Also, the only sizes that fit the Z4M are Mercedes OEM tyres. Again, is that ok? I'm assuming it is.

The other option is the Michelin PS3

Thanks,

Dan

I reckon you will be OK.

I thought I may have a similar issue with TOYO tyres...very slightly different tread pattern on the front to that on the back. I required different sizes and TOYO did not make them exactly the same...strange?

Anyhow, the TOYOs are fitted to a sports car, so you should be fine?

BTW, I believe the MB spec tyres sometimes have harder edges than the "standard" version of the similar tyre.

You may also want to look at FALKEN FK452...they are not the "ditch finders" people will have you believe and are superb in damp road conditions!

Thanks. After having a look on the Conti website, they're pictured next to each other and they look the same. Just the P has an extra centre section as it's wider.
