VIP Convoy 930am Today (Friday) M40

I was driving East on the M40 and just after High Wycombe noticed the westbound carriageway was empty, then a convoy of Black Range Rovers, Mercedes and a couple of new mini buses fly past accompanied by Police cars and outriders. About half a mile after was a Police Range Rover doing a rolling block - presumably to stop anyone getting close.

Any ideas? Cameron lives up near Oxford, could it have been him??

I've seen something similar on the M25 rolling along at a rather annoying 50mph. I assumed it was royalty.

Unlikely to be royalty, as they would not have such a big convoy. Dangerous prisoners?
