Canon question from a Nikon chap!

Which Canon is the equivalent of the Nikon F5? I am opening a studio and will be renting the F5 out for those who want to do a bit of creative retro without having to invest in a film body. Seems to be attracting interest. The Nikon will take all the current crop of Nikkors, flashes and will trigger studio heads. What model Canon will take the current crop of lenses, flashes and will trigger studio heads. I'm getting a bit confused with EOS 1, 1N, 1V etc! And have no idea whether they'll take L lenses.

It would be the EOS 1 series. 1 is the oldest, then 1N came, then 1V. They'll all take all EF lenses including L.
