Why do folk do that and then put a stupid body kit on it

If i had shoehorned a big V8 into a tiny car it would look as stock as possible for maximum giggles

I'd guessing it needed the wider track for packaging reasons? It would certainly be better looking standard, though.

It's a DTM look, and given the amount of power, quite sensible really to get more rubber onto the road.

Look at the track, they will have fitted the drivetrain from something and will want to keep the modifications to a minimum and also to fit wide tyres under a standard car would mean the diff would be close to the tyres.

Or at least do the bodykit so badly it looks like its been built by a blind person.

I always fancied a 6R4 but make it look like the worlds worst 6R4 bodykit
