im heading to the ring on friday on the ferry from hull. any pointers on the best route from zeebrugge?

google maps shows E40 all the way to the E31 then approach the ring on the 412.

this saves nearly 40 miles and looks more interesting. . .

any thoughts? bear in mind we want to get there fairly quickly.

cheers

I haven't driven that route but my personal favourite is to head down a bit further to Prum and take the route the sat nav gives you from there, there's a couple of really good twisty bits and it's usually pretty quiet.

You seem like you're a bit pressed for time, but if you can spare an hour either on the way or on the way back, you practically pass through Spa and the circuit's always good to have a break and nose around wink

Yea someone told me we should stop at spa. He said you could drive part of the track?

I think he went years(decades!) ago though, is this still the case?

You can drive what used to be part of the track, the straight at Masta just south of the circuit.

You can usually park up next to Eau Rouge and wander into/round the paddock smile
