wheels and tires

Hi im looking to put a set of 17inch wheels on my mini one, can anyone tell me if there is a specific offset i need, i dont want the wheels scrubbing when i go over any bumps

Any good place how dose wheels should be able to tell you if they are correct for a mini. If they dont know go some were else.
