I have found 1989 Breitling OLD NAVITIMER 1989 MINT with box and papers. It is on a leather strap.

Can anyone tell me what sort of price I should be looking at? The seller is asking Euro 2500...reasonable?

How safe are the sellers on chrono24?

No experience of buying from Chrono24, but price wise, may be a little on the high side but not extortionate.

I'd have thought that that was a little on the high side. I've just paid £2,200 for a 2006 Cosmonaute, and I think maybe I paid too much for it.

The value will be affected by condition - mint to me means nothing - and whether or not it's had a recent service, which would set you back about £400 I think if Breitling did it. I'd also pay a bit more for a leather strap with a deployant rather than just a pin buckle. FWIW the Old Navitimers are my favourites. There was a time when you couldn't give them away though.

Thanks. My thinking was that the prices are a little high. The 2500 Euro one hasn't had a service to the sellers knowledge and doesn't have the deployment clasp. I think I'll keep looking...it's half the fun anyway. Cheers! Mike

Prices seem to be climbing for good used examples, the majority of 'standard' size Navi's seem to be fetching around the £2,000 - £2,500 mark for complete items.

Just received this from Germany. It is in Mint condition with box and papers. 1992 Old Navitimer B13019. Really pleased. Just waiting for the black leather deployment strap.

Very nice, it will look brilliant on a genuine claf strap, I prefer my black dial Navitimer Olympus on a black calf instead of the bracelet.
